JOLLY Burgers & Beers is more than just a burger bar — it’s a heartfelt project built from gratitude, guts, and a whole lot of local pride.

Temuka has given me so much — from the chance to build a life and business here, to the friendships and support that have kept me going through every high and low. This town welcomed me in, backed me when I started small, and continued to stand behind me as I grew. So when the opportunity came to take over the old Jolly Potter and do something truly bold with it, I knew it was time to give back.

Taking on a full-scale renovation and rebrand is no small task. It’s a big move, a big investment, and a big promise to the community. But I believe Temuka deserves something special — a place that feels alive again, where the grill is always hot, the beer’s always flowing, and people feel proud to bring their friends, their family, and even their out-of-town visitors.

We’ve kept the name JOLLY as a nod to the pub’s legacy, but everything else is fresh, fun, and full of flavour. From the triple-patty Temuka Triple Threat to cocktails like the Jolly Colada and our 14-tap beer wall, every detail has been carefully built to offer something memorable.

But at the heart of it all, this place is about people. About community. About giving Temuka something it can call its own again — loud, proud, and unapologetically local.
